Hans J. Wegner’s CH110 desk stands out in many ways from his usual style of solid-wood furniture. Created in 1970, it was part of an exclusive office concept. The series features some of Wegner’s most distinctive steel-framed furniture. One of the most popular series, it was relaunched in 2008 in celebration of Carl Hansen & Søn’s 100th anniversary.

Hans J. Wegner started working with Carl Hansen & Son, the formidable titan of Danish design; in 1934. Their designer furniture hails a rich design history and an extraordinary vision for the future. Both Hansen and Wegner were driven by a love of wood and the desire to produce quality wooden furniture. It was during this fruitful collaboration that Wegner's unique talent manifested itself.
