Founded in 2006 by Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi, the award-winning Copenhagen-based design house takes its creative drive from a fusion of tradition and renewal, drawing on both designers' experiences of Danish and Italian craft traditions. Renowned for applying an experimental approach to every project they take on, Gam and Fratesi aim to understand and expand on traditional techniques, lending each design they create both a visible historical context and unique, fresh aesthetic.
