Description

Lovely day is a collection of modular sofas with exceptional versatility, designed by designer Marc Sadler for the Désirée brand.

This sofa in top grade leather and Herringbone tweed, is highly flexible with innovative movable, self supporting cushions with which to create different types of seating and ensure the right comfort. The backrests remain in place once positioned due to a patented system concealed by the upholstery that connects the cushions and allows them to be placed wherever required. Lovely Day has extra deep seats and completed by sculpted metal feet that raise the sofa from the ground to give it an airy and contemporary look. This sofa is a perfect, dynamic sofa whose elegance and uncluttered lines enhance any place it is located in. This sofa is made up of three bases which can be put in any combination. There are three backrests which can again be put in any combination.

Like new and in excellent condition. Was over £10,000 when purchased a year ago and seller still has the receipt.

  • The Design / Brand

    Désirée has been the soft furnishing brand of Gruppo Euromobil since 1995. The company has been working in the Treviso area, at Tezze di Piave, since as far back as 1968, manufacturing sofas, armchairs, beds and complementary items such as rugs and poufs in line with the “Home soft home” design philosophy, i.e. a special take on interpreting and recreating the inviting and convivial atmosphere typical of the home. Each product has been designed to be comfortable as well as refined, with a design that is always distinctive and authentically unique. Each detail combines functionality with aesthetics and is made with skilled and rigorous care, always expressing its own, particular, design raison d'être. All the soft furnishings made by Désirée result from brave ideas and creative dialogues with internationally-renowned designers with whom the company has set up ongoing collaborations.
