Description

The EA 208 Soft Pad Eames Alu Chair Office Chair has been created by Ray & Charles Eames for the brand Vitra. As early as 1969 when the couple designed the chair, they were blazing new trails. In this chair, they did it by going with a frame rather than the traditional shell.

The EA 208 Soft Pad Eames Alu Chair Office Chair has a medium height, wide backrest. It is made of die-cast aluminium which makes the chair both lightweight and durable. It has vertical padded and upholstered panels over the front. Polyurethane foam has been used for the padding and premium quality leather for the upholstery. The backrest is height adjustable.

The seat is also padded and upholstered to match. It is slightly upturned to provide optimal comfort. Metallic armrests that match the frame are on either side of it. The shell is supported by a base that has four legs that form a star shape.

The two are joined by a stout metallic stem. The legs have gliders underneath. Whilst the chairs are used, they are in excellent condition and will be given an overhaul before they are delivered.
