Description

Bend-Sofa is a modular sofa with a great personality. It seems to have been moulded by the artist’s hand. We ordered this beautiful and extremely comfortable sofa designed by Patricia Urguiola in 2015 for a family/media room in our big house in the US. Besides being a very family friendly sofa, this sofa was a delight to look at and shows character from any ankle emphasised by its unique contrasting stitching.

A year after the sofa arrived we moved to London and ended up in a typical Georgian terraced house. How much we tried the sofa is not fitting in any of the reception rooms so is just an obstacle in one of the spaces. With pain in our hart we decided to part of it. Fabric: Ego, cat, Extra, color 603 (purple) Stitching: 1021 Rosso (red) App size 377 x 226 cm (12’4” x 7’5”)

    Studio Urquiola was founded in 2011 by Patricia Urquiola and her partner Alberto Zontone. It operates in the fields of industrial product design, architecture, art direction and strategy consulting. Patricia collaborates with many furniture design manufacturers including B&B Italia.
