At LOT we like to kept things simple. We charge sellers commission on any item that sells on LOT, meaning there are no added fees for buyers on LOT. All the products listed on LOT are carefully vetted by our experts. That said, we don't know everything about an item. If you have a question, feel free to contact us and we'll ask the seller on your behalf.

How Is The Furniture On LOT Curated?

We aim to provide our users with a standard of products that will allow them to browse and know that what we are displaying is of a discerning design level.

How Does LOT Ascertain An Item's Provenance?

We ask all sellers to upload as much information and pictures that they are in procession of including where they can, invoices from original purchase. If a seller doesn’t satisfy our criteria we will not accept the product for sale. We encourage prospective buyers to ask any further questions they may require to complete the purchase.

How Is Delivery Organised?

Delivery is paid for by the buyer, we have information on our “shipping” page that can help buyers estimate the delivery fees associated with their intended purchase. After purchase, we’ll connect buyers and sellers to coordinate delivery dates and times between each other. For a fee of £25 plus VAT, LOT can obtain a delivery quote on the buyer’s behalf, this can be purchased when you checkout. Alternatively, buyers may arrange their own courier or collect purchased LOTs in person.

Can I Offer A Different Price On An Item?

Yes, if you email us atinfo@lot.co.ukwe can ask the seller if they would be willing to accept an offer on your behalf. However, LOT is not an auction site.

How Long Will It Take For My Item(s) To Arrive?

After purchase, LOT works between buyers and sellers to arrange collection and shipping of the purchased items as soon as possible. Due to the nature of organising collections from the private residential addresses of the people who list items on our site, and then securing the payment for shipping from the buyer, we cannot promise standard delivery times across our product range. Typically, items are collected  and dispatched to the purchaser within 1-2 weeks of the order being placed.

How Does The Custom Upholstery Service Work?

We can arrange for your product to be reupholstered and delivered to you as good as new. This can be in a material of your own or we can help you with your choices. Items that can be reupholstered have this option on the product page - selecting the “Customise the upholstery” option will allow you to request a quote. Note requesting a quote does not reserve the item, if you wish to do this please call us to put it on hold whilst we arrange your quote.
