"You List, We Sell"

You upload images and a description of the item you’d like to sell on LOT. Please note we do not list beds or mattresses. Our team reviews each submission to ensure it’s right for our community of design lovers. Once approved, your item is listed on our site and promoted to thousands of like-minded buyers.

Selling Fees

At LOT, we keep things simple. We take a £25 deposit for each item you list, which is returned once it sells, alongside a 25% sales commission. Shipping is paid for by the buyer. Unlike auction houses, there’s no red tape or uncertain pricing, and unlike traditional resellers, you’re not forced to accept a 40–50% discount. With LOT, you keep more of the value in your design pieces.

2
What Price Should I Set?

Be realistic, list your goods for the price you want to receive, bearing in mind 25% plus VAT commission is paid to LOT on a successful sale.

3
How Is Delivery Arranged?

After purchase, we’ll connect buyers and sellers to coordinate delivery dates and times between each other. For a fee of £25 plus VAT, LOT can obtain a delivery quote on the buyer’s behalf. 5
Can I Use My Photos?

What Is The Seller Listing Deposit?

When your item is approved to be listed on LOT, we'll request you pay a Seller Listing Deposit of £25. We'll deduct the deposit from our sales commission when your item sells or refund it if you withdraw your item from sale and inform us before such a time that there is an active offer or sale, if you fail to inform us before this point you will forfeit your deposit as this is unfair to buyers.

The deposit scheme helps us ensure happy customers, because as a buyer nothing's worse than when you've found and paid for the perfect item only to be told it's no longer available. We've found having a deposit scheme in place incentivises sellers to notify us, if they wish to delist their items, before such a scenario happens.
