Description
Superb bar stools from German designer furniture company COR. Rich dark brown, with faux leather seat and latticed fabric back rest on chrome stand and polished aluminium base. They are extremely comfortable and easy to use with the swivel function… more like bar chairs than bar stools.

Overall height to top of back is 104cms; height to seat is 80cms; height to footrest is 360cms. This is a set of five. They have been well cared for, are in excellent condition with barely visible, very fine scratches to some aluminium bases. Sadly they must go as part of a downsizing plan. We loved them and the grandchildren adored the swivel function. Suitable for kitchen, home bar, games room, for a high desk or drawing board. If you want class, comfort and style these will be for you. Stools come in more than one height, for example designed for kitchen worktop height or bar height. These are bar height. Price is for set of five. Will consider selling a single one or a set of four.

COR is still run by the same family that founded it in the mid-nineteen fifties. Still based in Rheda-Wiedenbrück, where they have been building furniture that reflects the passion of the people who make it for around seven decades. For a piece of furniture to have all those qualities, a lot of people have to get a lot of things right. For example, they have to select the best materials. Then those materials have to be processed and tested in compliance with the highest standards of craftsmanship (which is why some furniture makers take an easier route). Above all, the furniture has to be cleverly designed by a person who can anticipate everything that will make it a joy to sit on, relax in and live with for many years to come.
